Malaria Consortium, one of the world’s leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the
control of Malaria and other communicable diseases in Africa and Southeast Asia require
professional in its Nigeria office for a recently awarded CIDA/WHO funded project as
follows:
A. DEMAND CREATION OFFICER – NIGER
H/She will work closely with the Program Manager and team to provide technical
support and direct implementation of projects for ICCM activities focused on
community engagement and mobilization
REQUIREMENTS
ß Post graduate degree in Communication, Social Sciences, Public Health or other
related disciplined
ß Minimum of 3 years working experience in a developing country with excellent
project health communication skills
ß Excellent communication, planning, management and monitoring & evaluation skills
ß Report writing and presentation skills
ß Good knowledge of public health principles
B. SERVICE DELIVERY OFFICER – NIGER
H/She will work closely with the project manager and the team in providing technical
support and direct implementation of projects for ICCM activities focused on
identification, training, logistics for ICCM commodities and supervision of health facility
and community health workers in the state
REQUIREMENTS
ß Post graduate degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology or other health
related disciplines is required for this position
ß Not less than 3 years experience working in a developing country with good
knowledge of medical supplies, procurements and supply chain management
ß Good knowledge and skills in malaria control, pneumonia and diarrhea
ß Excellent report writing and presentation skills
ß Strong knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation and Public Health principles
The appointment is for a period of 2 years which is subject to an annual grant approval
by CIDA/WHO based on performance. There is possibility of contract extension for 3 – 4
years based on overall project performance
