MPD WELL SITE SUPERVISOR 
Location: Port-Harcourt

JOB SCOPE:
Establish and maintain regular communication with the client, drilling contractor, Weatherford Project Engineer, Weatherford Crew and all other service onsite. Providing feedback and regular technical advice to all parties concerned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all Managed Pressure Drilling Operations on the rig, from a technical, operational and safety stand point as per the drilling program requirements, to ensure the operational success of each well.
Coordinate any variations in project planning, onsite technical and operational requirements and implement MOC procedures as required.
Need to understand all the operations of MFC/RCD system, how the cables and computers are to be connected and run, how the various components interact with the ICU, how the data base works on site and how data should be transmitted remotely.
Install new versions of the software and update the systems as needed.
Interaction with 3rd party service providers on the rig, such as mud logging, Mud Company, nwireline logging, directional services, etc.
Manage and track inventory and logistics at the well site.
Ensure that all data material, operational forms and records, are completed and relayed to the Project Manager for collation and review
Responsible for job ticketing.
Champion all QHSE procedures and processes.
Responsible for reporting incidents.
Conduct rig up and rig down safety meetings.
To ensure compliance, and assist the crew’s implementation, of all QHSE procedures during the operational project activity.
Input any incidents in the Weatherford Performance Tracking System (WPTS) and complete all QHSE forms.
Train crew members and provide feedback and assessment to Operations Manager.
Participate in pre and post job meeting with clients.
Manage crew shifts and rotations while on the rig site.
Responsible for making sure equipment is functional and inventory lists complete before sending the equipment to location.
Oversee and maintain close contact with equipment transportation during logistical movements between wells to prevent equipment mishandling and/or damage and to ensure all equipment arrives as required for the project.
Establishing records on all maintenance that is suitably performed in the fieldand to communicate both minor and major repairs/maintenance reports with the Well Site SupervisorOnshore Project Engineer via the relevant operational documents provided.
Green tagging manifold after job is complete.
Conduct rig and site surveys
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Completed Senior High School Certificate
Completed Diploma/Degree in Engineering
Related Oil and Gas experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience in an Operational Field Environment
Technical/Engineering Degree and relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Pressure Engineering, Data Acquisition, and Drilling experience
Previous Project Management / Project Planning experience
Knowledge and experience with traditional drilling practices and well control.
Strong technical and operational knowledge of MPD Systems, procedures and practices.
Good knowledge and comfortable with computers and various software packages.
Ability to travel, both domestic and internationally.

MICROFLUX FIELD ENGINEER
JOB PURPOSE
Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
The primary responsibility of Field Engineer is to deliver high quality services to our clients.
Field engineer is responsible for ensuring that the preparation and dispatching of equipment is complete.
Field engineer is also responsible to inspect/check the equipment when received at the well site for possible damage/malfunction during transportation.
Field engineer is directly responsible for the quality of service delivered at the well site, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation.
Field engineer will need to know the installation of software, interaction of the Database and remote transmission of the data to the central server, how to fix the software problems in the field and apply the patches when required.
Field engineer is in charge of equipment assigned to him/her during the job and for the maintenance request at the end of the job.
Field engineer is responsible for the training and development of junior personnel assigned to his/her operation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates and monitors the MicrofluxTM operations.
Analyze well data and screen wells as potential for the use of MicrofluxTM techniques in real time.
Perform green tag procedures in the workshop or the field.
Primary technical support for MicrofluxTM control systems and its components.
Responsible for QHSE procedures and documentation on site for specific shift.
Provide technical support to customer representative on location and at base.
Responsible to operate the MicrofluxTM system on the rig on 12 hr. shifts and ensure accuracy and consistency of data acquisition.
Be proficient in the basic operating principles of the system, how to run the software and what different functions are available.
Be proficient in the function of the various components of the system on the manifold, valves, chokes, HPU, sensors, and be able to repair those.
Reports to the Well Site Supervisor while on location.
Supervise Service Operators with downhole operations.
Perform daily preventative maintenance as per the checklist.
Keep records of events during the 12 hrs. shift including screenshots and filling in the daily report accordingly.
Interface with the client, drilling contractor and directional drilling provider to advise during the drilling periods and to provide solutions to issues if required.
Ensure the well is drilled in compliance with the program.
Specify injection rates (where applicable) and back pressure on the well to ensure all MPD drilling criteria are filled.
Advise driller or company man of any event or problem identified in the field with strong technical knowledge of downhole conditions.
Attend meetings and conference calls when necessary.
Writing daily and end of well reports.
Assist in the rig up and rig down of equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS
This job is an experienced Filed Engineer position for RCD / MicrofluxTM control systems. Trainees and post-School personnel are expected to evolve fast and be capable of running the service independently in a routine environment. The candidate is expected to continue developing until he/she reaches a competency level to run the service in difficult and non-routine environment.
QUALIFICATION
Completed Senior High School Certificate
Bachelor degree in Engineering / Diploma
COMPETENCY/KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of drilling and well control.
Knowledge of computer and networking systems.
Excellent communication (both oral and written).
Preferable knowledge of analog and digital electronics, Soldering techniques, Oscilloscopes, networking, database servers, visual basic software,

Be involved early in the Secure Drilling business process, conducting rig surveys, generating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams [P&ID], and creating a Master Equipment List [MEL] that meets Customer requirements.
Coordinate HAZID & HAZOP meetings with client in order to finalize, and obtain client sign off for P&ID, finalize the MEL, and generate detailed Operations Plan.
Work with Materials on the procurement of any additional items required for the package.

Setup and Operates RCD/MFC control systems.

Perform various duties around the managed pressure drilling choke manifold, data acquisitions system, rotating control head, separation equipment, fluid handling and transfer systems, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with the safety precautions and practices.
Operate and Monitor rotating control head, choke manifold and separation system, with sampling and manual data recording.
Perform maintenance and system checks at the well site.
Perform repairs and troubleshooting in case of equipment failure.
To advise and assist the Supervisor with any pre-activity safety meeting action points that should be discussed
To fully learn and ensure the compliance of, and the implementation, of all QHSE procedures during the operational activity

SKILLS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
This job is an experienced operation position for RCD / MicrofluxTM control systems. Trainees and post-School personnel are expected to evolve fast and be capable of running the service independently in a routine environment. The candidate is expected to continue developing until he/she reaches a competency level to run the service in difficult and non-routine environment.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Hands on training required on valves, chokes, HPU and flow meter and pass certification on the following theoretical courses available on the web. Refer to SD Training Matri.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Strong computer software skills, basic networking and ability to troubleshoot a connection.
Long shifts, regularly 12 hours on site.
Requires extensive travel both domestically and internationally and extended stays away from home.
Skills in electronics, PLC systems and IT.
Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, soldering techniques, oscilloscopes are an advantage
Hands-on mechanical skills and redressing gate valves and replacing bearings.
